Non-governmental organization Open Government Partnership in Latvia (Atvērtās pārvaldības partnerība Latvijā) - Dialogue between citizens and government.
 
75 countries, including Latvia, have endorsed the Open Government Partnership since 2011 by signing the Open Government Declaration.

The Declaration stipulates openness in government, consulting with the public, budget transparency, corruption prevention, etc. Relations between the government and society of Latvia are to develop based on cooperation or partnership. The State Chancellery of the Cabinet of Ministers is working on a state program for the development of open government.
 
The non-governmental organization Open Government was established as an individual, independent civic initiative, the objective of which is to explain to the public measures described in the international agreement, which citizens of Latvia can use to improve their situation and influence the developments in the country. Founded in Riga on 18.dec.2013 by 16 private individuals, citizens of the Republic of Latvia.
